  • Follow the label on your recycle cart lid.
  • Wrapping paper is recyclable as long as it does not have glitter.
  • Greeting cards are recyclable as long as they do not have glitter.
  • Gift bags are recyclable as long as you remove handles AND there is no glitter.

NO

  • Bows and ribbons of any kind are not recyclable.
  • Wrapping paper with glitter is not recyclable.
  • Greeting cards with glitter are not recyclable.
  • Gift bags with glitter are not recyclable.
  • Gift bags with handles made of rope, ribbon, or other material are not recyclable.
  • Christmas lights are not recyclable.
  • Live and artificial Christmas trees are not recyclable.

Live Christmas trees are considered yard waste; please remove ALL decorations and place trees curbside on your designated yard waste pickup day.

Artificial trees can be disposed of via Special Pickup – please contact the Sanitation Division to schedule a Special Pickup via:
