The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is proposing operational and safety improvements at the intersection of Fiske Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) 519) near the intersections of Roy Wall Boulevard and Martin Road in Rockledge.
Proposed improvements include realigning Martin Road 115 feet northward to align with Roy Wall Boulevard, creating a four-legged intersection. A new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection.
New pedestrian signals and crosswalks are planned to enhance visibility at the new intersection. Some segments of existing sidewalk approaching the pedestrian crossings will be replaced and newly constructed curb ramps will meet all current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
These improvements are designed to promote safe and efficient mobility through the intersection for all users.
A project open house will be held on Thursday, February 27th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McLarty Park Community Center, 790 Barton Boulevard, Rockledge.
Attendees will have an opportunity to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions.

Visitors to the page may watch the project presentation, view project exhibits, and submit comments and questions directly to the project manager. Project materials will be available beginning Thursday, February 27, and will be the same as what will be shared at the in-person open house. While the information will remain on the website throughout the project, please provide comments or questions by Monday, March 10, 2025, to have the comments included in the open house record.
