[ARCHIVED] City of Rockledge Cancels 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

9-11 Remembrance Clipart

The City of Rockledge regrets to announce that, out of an abundance of caution relating to COVID-19, in response to increased case numbers and recommendations from the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control, the Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony has been cancelled.  This event will not be rescheduled this year; however, a virtual remembrance event/ceremony may be held.  The City of Rockledge looks forward to restoring the in-person ceremony in observance of the 20th anniversary of the September 11th tragedy in September 2021.

Again, the City of Rockledge apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause, and we encourage interested participants to monitor the City of Rockledge website,, or the City of Rockledge’s official Facebook page,, for additional information and event updates, including the potential for a virtual event/ceremony.
