The Agency offers extremely low-cost advertising for four businesses on its Florida Avenue / U.S. 1 Business District sign, a large, monument-style sign located strategically at the junction of Florida Avenue and U.S. 1. Shopping Centers Today

In addition to serving as an advocate for new businesses, the Agency recognizes the importance of marketing the Redevelopment District’s current retail assets. The Rockledge Community Redevelopment District is home to six commercial centers, as well as strategically located outparcels and raw land located on Fiske Boulevard at the I-95 interchange.

As a result of the downturn in the economy, these centers have experienced increases in vacancy rates. Therefore, in an effort to provide exposure and publicity for these properties, which offer a great deal of potential for the right tenant, the Agency placed an advertisement, which ran for 12 consecutive months, in Shopping Centers Today magazine to feature these properties. A publication of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the magazine boasts a reach of more than 60,000 commercial real estate professionals nationwide. Additional marketing efforts for these centers are being discussed.
